The purpose of the storekeeper assistant position is day-to-day implementation of the support functions responsibilities. The storekeeper assistant is responsible for Sana’a NRC warehouses stock management in Sana’a in compliance with NRC’s policies and procedures and donors’ rules and regulations.
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
  • Receive, unload, and load trucks and supervise the receipt in DPs.
  •  To adhere NRC Standards, guidelines, and policies in Warehousing system and applying documents of warehouse as GRN, Stock card, stock, request, Bin Cards, Stock issue, waybill,
  • Maintain a monthly Reconciliation reports and Monthly stock report as well.
  • Coordination with log staff in having support and providing the systematic works as PR and POs in system and then to prepare payments documents and submit it to finance with full support from logistics team.
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree 3 years of warehouse management
  • Knowledge of proper inventory management 
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
  • Faithfull, tactful, and honest.
  • Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
