VSO is the world's leading international development organisation that works through volunteers to fight poverty. Working in 24 countries around the world, our unique role in international development is to place committed volunteers with carefully selected organisations where their skills can have the greatest impact. Our extraordinary volunteers live and work in some of the world's poorest communities. Sharing their unique skills and experience to generate new ideas and new ways of doing things, helping the communities they work in lift themselves out of poverty. We're not about delivering quick fixes, but instead we focus on long-lasting, sustainable change, that will impact generations to come. Join us and help us work towards our vision of a world without poverty.

The answers to poverty, inequality and discrimination are already out there. They are the Changemakers, and they are living in developing countries across the world. VSO provide the training. We unlock the potential in others - the people who have the power to transform their own lives. What's more, when they pass their training on, its impact will grow and grow. Together, they will change the world for the better.

VSO is at a crucial point in its development. It is shifting its approach to place volunteering for development at the heart of its programmes and to create clear pathways for change, relevant to global thematic areas of focus and products. To underpin this, there is a requirement for funding to increase and diversify in order to deliver ambitious growth plans. At the heart of our Public Fundraising Strategy is the delivery of the best supporter experience to engage our loyal supporters and reach out to new audiences and to motivate the public to engage with our vision and purpose: A fair world for everyone: Creating lasting change through volunteering.

If you're a passionate fundraiser, then VSO is somewhere you can shape fundraising strategy and plans within an ambitious, friendly and inspiring culture. You'll also need to develop strong relationships with teams across VSO raising the profile of the Fundraising team and campaigns, including working with the retention team on supporter journeys to increase the lifetime value of each new supporter we acquire.
