Ensure the quality, visibility and consistency of communications and messaging related to Children rights, support the implementation of UNICEF communication and public advocacy strategy, including providing support in the organisation of public events and public relations activities.Also to follow up with the relevant programme sections on upcoming opportunities on visibility, develop creative proposals and implement the coverage and visibility and support donor’s relations and reporting.

METHODOLOGY |
Duties will entail regular monitoring, follow-up and supervision of the below mentioned tasks.
ACTIVITIES, DELIVERABLES AND TIMELINES, PLUS BUDGET PER DELIVERABLE |
Ensure quality visibility and highlight Children issues and UNICEF interventions in Egypt. The following deliverables are required:

QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES |
- BA in Mass Communication.
- More than five years experience in Communication field.
- Very good writing and editing skills in English and Arabic.
- Good knowledge of UNICEF mandate.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work for long hours and deliver under stress and within strict deadlines.
CONDITIONS OF WORK |
Work will be undertaken in an office setting. A computer will be provided.
