The ICT Manager reports to the Chief of Operations in large and complex office environment with a broad range of projects and several field/zone offices, with a technical reporting line to the Regional Chief of ICT.

Based on the established policies, guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs), the purpose of the incumbent role is to exercise a large scope of ICT functional accountability and internally manage complex ICT systems including software development and operations and externally enhance collaboration and capacity building; improve the delivery of results and knowledge management; build business relationships and foster innovation.

Yemen Country Office is looking for a manager with innovative ideas who will support various projects within the office.  The staff member will make a difference by:

1. Managing the ICT function and provide technical and operational support

2. Enhancing governance, collaboration, build relationships and capacity

3. Improving the delivery of results

4. Fostering innovation office-wide

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in computer science, software engineering, information technology management, business administration, or another relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in information technology management and business operations in a large international organization and/or corporation is required.
  • Certifications in various in CISCO and MicroSoft programmes and/or proven experience in one of these several ICT technical competencies: ICT Project Management, Business Analysis, Information Security, ICT Audit and Risk Management, Telecommunications, Networks Information Security and Software Engineering and Programming.
  • Experience in a UN organization or INGO is an asset.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge Arabic is an asset.
