Job Description
Job Overview/Summary: The part-time
Finance Officer will work 10 days per month.
The part-time Finance Officer works
as part of the finance team to perform finance and accounting
activities, for instance, reconciliation and payments to third parties (e.g.,
hospitals, vendors, landlords, etc.) Maintenance
of IRC Finance compliance with IRC rules and regulations.
Major Responsibilities:
-Ensure data entry for financial reports
(Cash and Bank Spreadsheets of AP Account) are recorded accurately
-Ensure IRC payments to vendors have been
made and get confirmation of receipts on timely manner
-Ensure monthly cheque and advance
outstanding report is submitted on time
-Work in collaboration with MHS programs
staff to prepare monthly stipend for CBAs
-Assist the Senior Finance Supervisor to ensure
calculation of VAT and withholding tax in compliance with rules and
regulations of the Revenue Department
-Assist the Senior Finance Supervisor to
scan finance document and record on monthly basis.
-Perform
other duties, as appropriate or requested by Supervisor.

Working Environment: The position is located at the IRC Field Office in Mae Hong Son.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Education: University degree in accounting
Work Experience: 5 years of experience in managing financial operations in a private or not-for-profit organisation
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: -
Computer literate with strong excel/ database skills, written and spoken English. Previous experience working with refugees or humanitarian not for profit organization
Hard working with service mind and flexibility
Certificates or Licenses: - Accounting
