Job Description
Role overview IRCis looking for a Designer with illustration, prototyping and user centered design experience. The project’s objectives are to create – with user and facilitator feedback – an intervention to support caregiver’s psychosocial well-being and promote early childhood development. The entry point for the intervention will be health clinics and close collaboration with health colleagues and designing for scalability will be critical to project success. The role is approximately 4 weeks, part-time consulting contract in IRC’s Cox’s Bazaar office with some travel to refugee camps and host communities. This is a limited contract with opportunities for further collaboration with the IRC. Detailed expectations We are looking for an experienced designer to lead these early prototyping activities. This is where you come in! If you have design research experience, prototyping experience, an interest in health or early education programs, and creative problem solving skills, you can help design the prototypes for our project. The Designer will work in close collaboration with our IRC Education team in Cox’s Bazaar and with close collaboration with Education Coordinator and Technical Manager-ECD based in Bangladesh and ECD Senior Specialist from the Education Technical Unit. The Contractor would provide to IRC the following services (“Scope of Work”):

Job and skills requirements: Availability requirements Previous experience (3+years) working with education technical specialists on human centered design projects in challenging environments is a must.
