ICT Trainer AD5

Reporting to the Head of ICT Unit (and under the supervision of the respective Head of Sector), the main tasks and responsibilities of the ICT Trainer are as follows:  Organizing and delivering of adequate all level and all type of ICT trainings by various means and methods (including direct classes, hands-on workshops, on-the-job trainings, video tutorials);  Acting as architect of the training programme who understands the business needs;  Analyzing training needs, identifying existing gaps in skills and competencies, addressing them by sourcing of adequate training;  Populating, managing, up keeping and enlarging of the database of training materials;  Ensuring that feedback and lessons learned from delivered training are taken on board, in order to continuously improve the products;  Actively participating in the development, roll out and change of applications in order to improve the experience to end users;  Supporting business processes and contribution by delivering related training to maximize effectiveness;  Participation in procurements of ICT training services and courses, guiding contractors in scope of trainings and training materials for ICT solutions;  Providing technical writer services to projects and software developments;  Develop training strategy and deliverables for future systems not yet developed;  Performing other duties on request of Head of Unit. Scope of ICT applications for training delivery:  Frontex intranet (MyFX), extranet and Document Management System based on SharePoint platform;  Frontex office automation applications based on Microsoft office suite;  Frontex custom operational applications, developed mainly as web rich interface transactional applications (Angular based) with user of GIS components (ESRI based);  Frontex custom operational applications developed in SharePoint platform;  Frontex business intelligence applications developed in Microsoft BI, SAS and fully custom analytical applications.
