Job Description
IRC BACKGROUND: Founded in 1933, the IRC is a leading nonsectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. One aspect of the IRC is to assist refugees with resettlement and integration in the United States. The IRC opened a Denver office in 2016 to provide reception and placement services to newly arrived refugees. The office is slated to resettle approximately 200-250 refugees per year and provides wraparound program services that assist refugees, asylees, Cuban and Haitian entrants, victims of trafficking, survivors of torture, asylum seekers, and other immigrant populations. Most services are available for at least five years following arrival in the U.S. The IRC in Denver’s service approach is client-centered, empowerment-focused, trauma-informed, and multigenerational. JOB OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Data and Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring data integrity through development and implementation of data collection, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms for the IRC in Denver. A key member of the team for the Reach Program carried out in partnership with the Colorado Refugee Services Program (CRSP), the Data and Quality Assurance Specialist serves as the lead for the IRC in Denver related to the Geneva database (a Salesforce-based system). The position also works collaboratively with the local team and with technical advisors and the IRIS+ETO team at IRC’s headquarters to promote high-quality data tracking and reporting within the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) database for all other programs outside of Reach. This includes identifying reports and other tools that enhance quality assurance, monitoring, and evaluation efforts. The position is part-time at 60% (22.5 hours per week) and is benefits eligible.
