Duties and responsibilities
 The role of Technical Logistics Assistant is to assist in the day to day management of warehousing and assets and support the logistics team where needed.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with a 2 years of experience. Previous experience in Logistics managing Warehouse and Assets. Previous experience working with NGO. Working knowledge
(Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English.
We are particularly looking for a positive individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can build trust and confidently navigate both internally and externally at different levels, to have the ability to analyze data and trends for informed decisions and Capacity building skills.In this position, you will join highly motivated and Experienced Staff who are making a difference to the most vulnerable people in the world's biggest displacement crisis.

Specific responsibilities:
- Complete a monthly stock count of warehouse items and any other stock 
- Assists in the receipt, storage, and transfer of stock, ensures the accuracy of quantities, condition and validity and complete checks on random samples. Ensuring all paperwork is complete.
Complete the end of year stock physical count 
- Assist in the management of assets, ensuring all assets are tagged and logged in line with the NRC Logistics Handbook, 
- Complete and file accurate and up to date logistics documents such as all Stock Management documents, Assets Management documents, Active & In-active staff's asset files.
- Complete all mid-year and end of year full assets check
- Assist in the preparation and completion of daily/weekly/monthly logistic reports as required - Support Mafraq office Logistics Officer as required by line manager (Fleets/Warehousing etc) 
- Ensure NRC is compliant in stock and asset management in all internal and external regulations, including but not limited to SSD and CRM.

-Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
-Assist a range of support with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action. 
-Implements independently procedures and activities within own function or core competency as delegated. 
-Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards.
-Develop and maintain knowledge of the specialist area of work in which technical assistance and support is being provided, in order to be most effective in supporting the team. 
-Use initiative in day to day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities and standards for the area of work.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
-Ensure proper filing of documents. 
-Promote and share ideas for improvement in your area of expertise. 
-Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.

-Experience from working within technical expertise area in a humanitarian/ recovery context.
- Knowledge and experience within a relevant administration, craft or technical field and ideally a relevant vocational qualification.

- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Some knowledge of English.

Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience:

Qualification requirement: Vocational/Tawjihi degree or equivalent 
Years of Experience: 2

Previous experience in Logistics managing Warehouse and Assets 
Previous experience working with a non profit NGO 
Working knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English
