JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to manage the infrastructure supporting the various websites, web apps and digital platforms ran by Amnesty International, International Secretariat (AIIS). The responsibilities range from troubleshooting, optimising, monitoring and working with various dispersed development agencies to designing and managing continuous integration/continuous deployment strategies.

ABOUT YOU

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage the architecture, various websites, web apps and digital platforms to align with best-practice, unreliability, reduce cost and complexity.
* Manage the migration of key web sites to the new Content Management System (CMS) WordPress.
* Migration of key workloads currently hosted on infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) to platform-as-a-service (PaaS) alternatives to reduce cost and complexity.
* Improving logging and reporting to allow IS to diagnose and where possible predict incidents.
* Working with the Information Security Officer Review the security of the website infrastructure, admin accounts and process to reduce the risk of future disruption.
* Develop and maintain an automated build process that executes all build, deploy and test activities and a test automated framework (TAF) that asserts daily operational requirements and conclusively proves test build/deployment success

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Experience managing large enterprise websites.
* Experience working in an agile environment.
* Significant experience working with Azure at scale, developing infrastructure as code using tools such as ARM or Terraform.
* Proven problem solving and troubleshooting experience.
* Understanding of network topology and architecture and application to the cloud environment – specifically around software-defined networking within Azure (VNET, NSGs, ASGs).
* Experience working with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Demonstrable experience using PowerShell for the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure and environment configuration.
* Demonstrable experience managing and working with source-code version-control systems – specifically Git.
* Significant experience implementing and managing CI/CD processes within Azure utilising Azure DevOps.
