The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities, we restore safety, dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to endure. The IRC leads the way from harm to home.

IRC Libya is seeking a Consultant to conduct a stakeholder mapping and analysis for local civil society, government, and other relevant actors within Libya. The stakeholder mapping and analysis is meant to build IRC Libya’s understanding of potential partners within Libya to help the country program meet outcomes and deliver services for our client base. The mapping and analysis will focus on identifying actors within Western and Southern Libya whose priorities align with the IRC and the wider humanitarian community within Libya.Priority areas of analysis include, but are not limited to, Tripoli, Misrata, Bani Walid, Tawergha, and Sebha.

The Consultant will work closely with the IRC Governance Technical Advisor, based in New York, with support from the Deputy Director for Programs based in Tunis and the Partnerships Director based in Amman. 4. Facilitate a remote social network analysis workshop with relevant stakeholders, including potential IRC partners, to both document mutual partnership priorities and build common understanding of the civil society network within the priority areas.
  5. Synthesize and present findings in an Assessment Report and Partnership Strategy for IRC Libya

Deliverables:
