WFP will assign a Business Support Assistant for Research to support the following activities: conducting formative research, developing strategy and action plan, executing capacity building activities among identified partners, administrative assistance during workshops and coordinating among these partners. The BSA (Research), in close coordination with the project Research Consultant (RC), will carry out the activities under the leadership of the SBCC Consultant and overall guidance of the Program Policy Officer (Activity Manager 2).

The WFP developed the five-year Country Strategic Plan (CSP) 2018-2023 that supports the Philippine Development Plan (PDP 2017-2022) and the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN 2017-2022). JOB PURPOSE

The main objective of the SBCC project is to contribute to the improvement of the nutrition situation in Maguindanao, by 2022, by addressing existing behaviors, norms and practices that are barriers to pregnant and lactating women (PLW) and children’s access and utilization of healthy nutritious diet. It also aims improve delivery of social services to the target audience and equip staff from different sectors with knowledge and tools that will help them improve delivery of those services.
