Job Summary: 
 
The person will be critical in supporting RTI’s business, establishing and growing the network for the Health division across the country. The incumbent will support the business in the design and implementation of strategies to capture & develop proposals and transition projects to post-award implementation, at both organization and field level. 
Essential Duties:
  • Partnership and Stakeholder Management:Strengthen strategic relationships by liaising with government stakeholders, donors and RTI International colleagues. Manage effective partnerships with both existing and new key corporate partners, NGOs, government, foundations, media and other national/ international funders
  • Business Development: Provide support and guidance for the continuous improvement of new business development procedures and processes, specifically in donor prospecting and strategic prioritizing, and donor relationship cultivation and stewardship, to ensure that new business development efforts are efficient, effective, and of the highest possible quality. Represent the organization’s business development interests at relevant meetings, events, and within resource mobilization or donor-specific peer networks
  • Technical writer:Write concept notes, insights from research studies, crafted in plain speak language, differentiated by target audience. Provide publications support to ensure the quality of documents produced for external and internal clients, including reports, proposals, journal articles, presentation materials, guidelines documents, newsletters, and annual reports.
  • Proposal writing:Support health division in business development by drafting or contributing to writing proposals and concept notes, conceptualizing problem statement and lead proposal development to ensure high quality concept papers and proposals by identifying and managing proposal teams, supporting proposal-related research and writing, and managing timely delivery of documents, including serving as the lead writer.
  • Project Management: Lead execution of commissioned projects, managing teams and client relationships.  
  • Research:Draw or support creation of research frameworks for proposed studies. Conduct secondary and primary research for ongoing projects. 
  • Knowledge creation and Knowledge management: Strategize collation and dissemination of knowledge products like briefs, posters and publications.
Minimum Required Education & Experience
Job Requirements are a combination of qualifications and related experience. Judgment of an acceptable equivalent
combination, on an individual basis, is the responsibility of Management.
Minimum Required Education & Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s with 8 yrs or Master’s with 6 yrs in Economics or Public Health or equivalent from a reputed institute
 
  • Experience of working with either funding organization or implementation or organizations in the Public health or development sector

  • Strong and demonstrated track record of self-management and initiative while working with remote teams. 
  • Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Applications (including SharePoint); Salesforce.
