Project Management and Subject Matter Experts, Economic Growth Programming, El Salvador

ACDI/VOCA is seeking management and technical experts for anticipated economic growth programs funded by USAID, with focus on job creation, market systems, youth workforce development, alternative education and vocational training, stemming illegal migration, and economic recovery. These activities are envisioned to start in 2021.

Qualifications

While each position will have its own operational and technical scope under the projects, overall qualifications will meet the below requirements:

  • Advanced degree in economics, international development, public or business administration, and social/political fields of study
  • Substantial experience in the related technical area, including in development programming, the private sector, or with public agencies
  • Experience coordinating program activities with government authorities, NGOs and donor community
  • Experience with USAID and/or other international donor-funded projects preferred
  • Stamina and willingness to be flexible, focused, and reliable in an environment of changing demands
  • Positive outlook and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency or professional proficiency in Spanish required, English strongly preferred
