About Skilled Samaritan
Skilled Samaritan Foundation (SSF) was founded in 2012 and has been working closely with the rural communities of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh & Rajasthan. Our initial projects focused on implementing solar rural electrification solutions in villages and schools; and through our journey in these villages, we discovered traditional furniture styles originating in the early 1800s.
Our aim is to reinvent these vernacular designs using mostly waste and unused materials that are unique to our artisans' locale, to create exclusive products for contemporary spaces.
