In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), MSD for Mothers and other anonymous donors.

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of HR – Assistant based in New Delhi. The position will report to the Director: HR & Administration and responsible for managing end-to-end recruitments for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Job Description in consultation with Hiring Manager
• Prepare Manpower Requisition Form
• Post positions on job portals
• Host and sift applications based on qualification and experience
• Categorize candidates by interviewing; analyzing profile; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
• Head hunt suitable candidates
• Contact Nursing and Medical Colleges for campus recruitment
• Create applicant database. Create records of applications in soft
• Coordinate preliminary interviews; written test and related documentation
• Make necessary arrangement to manage interviews by including coordination with interview panelists; managing schedules; making necessary travel arrangements
• Maintain multiple recruitment trackers
• Review hiring trends periodically
• Draw hiring plan with timelines, associated activities and cost
• Send application forms to the selected employees
• Complete documentation of selected candidate
• Coordinate joining process
• Manage both soft and hard data of employees
• Coordinate exit formalities and related documentation
• Any other jobs assigned by the supervisor

Abilities/Skills:

• Orientation to details and accuracy
• Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks under strict timelines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Punctuality
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a multicultural work environment

Qualifications:

• Graduate with 3 to 5 years’ of experience in recruitments or Post-Graduation/ Masters in HR with 2 years’ of experience in recruitment at large scale
• Familiarity with the development sector will be preferred
