Consultant Economist

The consultant's assignments will be : :

- Write the study protocol (including the data analysis method, sampling methodology to be used in the study, etc.);

- Conduct a literature review on technology transfer mechanisms in general, and specifically on technology transfer mechanisms in the context of rural and agricultural development projects;

- Drafting of data collection documents for the purposes of the study (and digitize them);

- To conduct interviews with the different stakeholders involved in the implementation of the project;

- Analyze data;

- Identify, describe and evaluate the main internal transfer tools developed by the CDCs and CVCs;

- Evaluate the level of satisfaction of the producers selected for the pilot project;

- Propose an action plan to address the constraints and difficulties identified and boost the assets;

- Make a workable plan for scaling up the CVC and CDC models.

- Propose a framework of collaboration with ANADER for a better synergy of actions;

- Produce a technical report (to be presented during a workshop) highlighting the main results and recommendations.

- To report during a workshop the results obtained from the study;

Requirements

Academic and professional qualifications :

Hold a post-graduate degree in agro-economics or economics ;

Minimum work experience:

- Minimum of 05 years of relevant experience ;

- Experience in agricultural policy analysis ;

- Experience in agricultural technology analysis;

- Experience in agricultural extension
