Under article 4.2, paragraph (e) of the Staff Regulations, the filling of vacancies in technical cooperation projects does not fall under Annex I of the Staff Regulations and is made by direct selection by the Director-General.



In order to support the best informed process in the filling of the above-mentioned vacancy by direct selection, the ILO invites interested candidates to submit their application online by the above date.

Technical cooperation appointments are not expected to lead to a career in the ILO and they do not carry any expectation of renewal or conversion to any other type of appointment in the Organization. A Short-term contract will be given. Extensions of technical cooperation contracts are subject to various elements including the following: availability of funds, continuing need of the functions and satisfactory conduct and performance.

 

*Conditions of employment for external candidates: In conformity with existing ILO practice, the appointment of an external candidate will normally be made at the first step of this grade. 

Introduction


L’Organisation internationale du Travail (OIT) est l’institution des Nations Unies qui a pour vocation de promouvoir et mettre en œuvre les droits fondamentaux au travail, d’accroître les opportunités d’emplois et de revenus pour les femmes et pour les hommes, d’étendre le bénéfice et l’efficacité de la protection sociale pour tous, et de renforcer le tripartisme et le dialogue social.

Le projet « La voie à suivre après la révolution: Travail décent des femmes en Egypte et en Tunisie », financé par le Ministère des Affaires Etrangères de la Finlande, vise en général à promouvoir la participation des femmes égyptiennes et tunisiennes à l’économie. Le projet vise à contribuer à la réalisation de l’égalité entre les femmes et les hommes notamment en milieu du travail et ce par la réduction des inégalités aux niveaux local, national, régional. Le projet se compose des trois axes suivants :

- Renforcer l’environnement propice à l'égalité des sexes sur le lieu de travail grâce à une approche intégrée avec les partenaires nationaux et les entreprises privées,
- Renforcer l’environnement propice au développement de l'entrepreneuriat féminin,
- Améliorer le leadership des femmes dans les organisations des travailleurs et des employeurs.

Le/la Coordonnateur/trice national/e du projet sera basé(e) dans les locaux du projet de l’OIT à Tunis. Il/elle sera en charge de la mise en œuvre des activités prévues du projet.

Supervision :

Le/la Coordonnateur/trice national(e) du projet travaillera sous la supervision directe de la Cheffe du Projet et la responsabilité générale du Directeur du Bureau de pays de l’OIT pour l’Egypte et l’Erythrée, basés au Cair
