In this context, the NAVISP Technical Programme Office is responsible for managing the programme’s Element 3 activities and providing technical support to the managers of NAVISP Element 1 and Element 2 in order to achieve overall NAVISP programmatic objectives.
In line with NAVISP technical innovation objectives in Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), your duties will include the following:

- prepare inputs and feedback for innovation roadmaps and technology harmonisation;
- support the assessment of innovation activity statistics on industrial activity distribution and trade-offs;
- support the continuous identification of target stakeholders and their technical requirements, possibly leveraging existing ESA consultation platforms;
- continuously support the assessment of available or maturing PNT capabilities, in liaison with other ESA directorates and programmes;
- monitor the technical progress of all innovation activities ensuring up-to-date reporting of their status from designated Technical Officers in coordination with the Head of NAVISP Element 1 (PNT Innovation) Office;
- support ad-hoc outreach actions to increase awareness of PNT capabilities and of opportunities offered by NAVISP.
A Master's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
You must demonstrate broad technical competence in PNT techniques and technologies, beyond GNSS, complemented by specific expertise in at least two of the following areas:
- autonomous transport and green mobility;
- seamless PNT applications for Industry 4.0, e.g. for indoor infrastructure logistics;
