In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, David & Lucile Packard Foundation, Childrenâs Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), MSD for Mothers and other anonymous donors.
Jhpiego is hiring for the position of HR â Associate based in New Delhi. The position will report to the Director: HR & Administration and responsible for managing end-to-end recruitments for the organization.
â¢ Coordinate Manpower Requisition and approvals
â¢ Prepare Job Description in consultation with Hiring Manager o Post positions on relevant job portals
â¢ Host and sift applications based on qualification and experience
â¢ Categorize candidates by interviewing; analyzing profile; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
â¢ Head hunt suitable candidates
â¢ Contact Nursing and Medical Colleges for campus recruitment
â¢ Create applicant database. Create records of applications in soft
â¢ Coordinate preliminary interviews; written test and related documentation
â¢ Make necessary arrangement to manage interviews by including coordination with interview panelists; managing schedules; making necessary travel arrangements and reimbursement
â¢ Maintain multiple recruitment trackers
â¢ Review hiring trends periodically
â¢ Draw hiring plan with timelines, associated activities
â¢ Send regret mail to disqualified candidate
Pre-hiring Tasks â
â¢ Conduct reference check of qualified candidates.
â¢ Process documentation of selected candidates
â¢ Coordinate hiring process
â¢ Coordinate initial settling arrangements and information to concerned departments
â¢ Coordinate joining process including joining documentation, welcome note, introduction, sharing joining documents with new hire and concerned departments
â¢ Manage both soft and hard data of employees
â¢ Conduct new hire orientation
â¢ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
â¢ Orientation to details and accuracy
â¢ Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks under strict timelines
â¢ Ability to maintain confidentiality
â¢ Good written and oral communication skills in English
â¢ Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
â¢ Ability to work in a multicultural work environment
â¢ Masters in HR or related field with at least 3 yearsâ of experience in HR in relevant areas
â¢ Familiarity with the development sector will be preferred
