Service
This role is responsible for all of the campaign’s online activity. This includes establishing and managing Facebook pages, coordinating campaign websites and engaging designers to build them. This role also coordinates the creation of content and news articles from the field offices and ensures they are published online and shared on Facebook pages. This role is also responsible for promoting content and identifying target audiences using Facebook advertising analytics and tools.

As a Social Media Officer, you will provide the following services:
Deliver:
Project and Mission Implementation
Create social media content in Bengali, Hindi and English and manage online tools;
Create a space for Bengali, Hindi and English audiences to ask questions, engage, and share information.
Identify target audiences and tailor messages to the target audiences
Recommend and/or create story ideas and content for target media outlets, including news articles, features, opinion pieces, social media posts, talk shows, and documentaries.
Write news and feature stories for our branded platforms
Under the supervision of Her Choices Trust Strategic Communications Lead:
Create the fortnightly content calendar and share it with the Strategic Communications Lead fortnightly on Wednesdays for review (at least four posts per week).
After confirming the content calendar, create posts and share as planned.
Check and reply to comments and messages, and inform your Strategic Communications Lead if there are comments and messages that you do not know the answer to.
Suggest ideas to improve the page and encourage members to engage.
Generating search-friendly headlines and social-friendly copy with team and writing content that is suitable and understandable for the targeted audience.
Executing and optimising content during campaigns to ensure momentum and optimal visibility.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends within the digital and social media landscape and executing social media competitions and collating entries.
Compiling weekly/monthly social media platform reports and monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns.
Compiling monthly narrative for donor reports.
Develop: Capabilities and Program Portfolio
Contribute to ongoing development of project management processes and procedures.

Direct: Global Management
Represent and demonstrate the Enterprise’s values.
Cooperate with other areas of the Migration Program and Enterprise, including to communicate substantive and administrative information that supports corporate management overall. For example, this would include ensuring effective internal reporting at the project level.
