Resilience Innovation Knowledge Academy India Private Limited (RIKA) is a social entrepreneurship startup with an aim of bringing research into the core of disaster management activities in India and other parts of South Asia. Resonating the Sendai declaration in relation to the need for widening the scope of Science and Technology in the disaster management, we at RIKA envision to act as a bridge connecting academic research, policy makers and field practitioners to make informed decisions and use of new technologies. Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced motivated and enthusiastic office manager for RIKA who can support the smooth running of RIKA’s office on a day-to-day basis, as well as support Co-Founders for a smooth operation. The executive manager is expected to play a key role in supporting RIKA in overseeing the operations, finance and administrative process of the projects, networking and partnership building, team management, monitoring of activities, among others. In addition to the above, the following responsibilities are also expected from this position.

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Support internal auditing
  • Assisting RIKA’s HR function by keeping personnel records up to date, arranging interviews and so on.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
  • Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
  • Preparing letters, presentations and reports.

An ideal candidate should be capable of delivering within tight deadlines without compromising on the quality. The candidate should be based in Delhi or in the NCR and should be open to travel across India as and when required. The candidate should have experience of handling confidential information and willingness for multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Desired Academic Qualification
Minimum qualification for this position is a Master’s degree in business administration, or in a related discipline, or qualified company secretary with a good command over English and Hindi.

Work Experience
An ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of working experience in managing office administration, billing, filing of GST, TDS, making contracts and other legal documents. Prior experience in the development sector is desired with exposure to networking and business development.

Knowledge of software
The candidate should be proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access), Tally etc.
