Finance and Reporting Intern
San Diego (United States of America)
SCOPE OF INTERN WORK: IRC’s MAKE (Merging Agriculture, Kitchens, and Employment) Projects uses food-based programs – urban farming, commercial food production, a café, special events, weekly CSA newsletter and monthly food and culture journal – as an educational platform for refugees, immigrant and low-income individuals to move to self-sufficiency in San Diego. See our Instagram @ircmake_sd to learn more about what we do.
The Finance & Reporting Intern (F/R Intern) will get an inside look and firsthand experience with the critical accounting and outcomes monitoring activities of a non-profit social enterprise program. The F/R Intern will learn a lot about how non-profit administration works while also gaining experience understanding and supporting the business analysis of a growing social enterprise. The intern will also help track grant-based reporting on client trainings and outcome-based activities critical to non-profit grants management. The F/R Intern will work closely with MAKE Projects staff and especially, the Senior Program Manager. An essential experience for anyone looking to understand and grow in a non-profit or business sector job in the future.
