Under the supervision of and reporting to the Head of the Operational Training Sector within Training Unit (TRU), the Training Support Officer will contribute to the development, implementation and administration of Frontex specialized training courses and products in the specific areas of Operational Health and Safety and Use of Force, firearms and ammunition in a law enforcement context, delivered to support capacity and capability development for the European Standing Corps and to foster the implementation of EU Integrated Border management (IBM). Working closely with the operational stakeholders of Training Unit, the jobholder will contribute to the implementation of onsite and online training activities as planned in the Frontex Single Programming Document and the Annual Programme of Work. Furthermore, the Training Support Officer will be responsible for liaising with the Training Support Sector in the promotion of e-learning products and their upkeep. She/he will also support the development and implementation of online products and the creation of a blended learning portfolio in the thematic area assigned. The main tasks related to the post are: - to provide support to the development of training content as well as to the visual design of the training products according to the identified needs, applying modern technologies and tools for graphic design; - to provide support to the design, development and evaluation of onsite and online training activities and actively contribute to their delivery; - to organize and moderate onsite and online expert meetings and workshops and support the development of specialized learning products for border and coast guarding education in the areas of Operational Health and Safety and/or Use of Force, firearms and ammunition in a law enforcement context; - to provide support to training the trainers, facilitate their work and monitor their performance; - to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and support the identification of training needs; - to produce reports and draft administrative documents.
