About the job

Providing support to DRC Support staff in Document archiving and Office Upkeep through repair and maintenance of the office.

 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all repairs are carried out in a safe and thorough manner.

• Ability to carry out basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, heating and all other Maintenance work as and    when required.

• Maintain the garden areas around in the office.

• Replace light bulbs and carrying out minor maintenance tasks as required.

• Generator operation and maintenance, fuel, oil and filters.

• Provide maintenance services / work in DRC program delivery facilities (CRC, CCs).

• Make an assessment and Inform the line manager of any repairs or replacements required of maintenance equipment

• Monthly planning of procurement of all required maintenance items to line manager (e.g. cleaning fluid, garbage     bags, soap, toilet paper etc.)

• Provide support to the Support Team (Finance, Supply Chain and HR & Admin) on document archiving.

• Any other related duty assigned by the line manager.

 

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have the following:

Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)

 

  • 1 year of previous experience in a similar position. 
  • Good communication skills (reading, writing, speaking). 
  • Spoken and written Arabic is essential

Desirable:

  • English is desirable
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Knowledge of local area
