Key roles and responsibilities of the Project Officer include:

  • Responsible on technical assistant to and strengthening quality of humanitarian respond services of partner LNGO’s project service team.
  • Responsible on technical assistant to and strengthening of project monitoring, evaluation and learning processes of partner LNGO’s field project team.
  • Responsible of project advocacy and coordination with all relevant local stakeholders as representative of IRC.
  • Assisting Program Coordinator- Rakhine and Public Health Specialist-HHR for management of project and service quality strengthening.

Responsibilities:

Responsible on technical assistant to and strengthening quality of humanitarian respond services of partner LNGO’s project service team.

  • Give technical support on partner LNGOs project service team lead and team for implementing primary health care services and community health promotion through mobile / fix clinics and health education team.
  • Conduct service quality monitoring and evaluation on primary health care service and health education services by partner LNGOs project service team.
  • Plan, organize, conduct or facilitate the capacity building actions for partner’s project service team.
  • Assist Program Coordinator- Rakhine and Public Health Specialist-HHR for defining required adaptation and designing local context responsive PHC and health education service provision.

Responsible on technical assistant to and strengthening of project monitoring, evaluation and learning processes of partner LNGO’s field project team.

  • Give technical support on partner LNGO’s project service team lead and field MnE focal for managing field project database and MnE mechanism.
  • Plan, organize, conduct or facilitate the MnE capacity building actions for project service team lead and field MnE focal.
  • Assist Program Coordinator- Rakhine and Public Health Specialist-HHR and MnE Manager-Rakhine for defining required adaptation and implementation of local context responsive MnE mechanism for service quality and project implementation.

Responsible of project advocacy and coordination with all relevant local stakeholders as representative of IRC.

  • As necessary in collaboration with partner LNGO’s file project team lead, organize, facilitate or conduct local stakeholders advocacy actions as representative of IRC.
  • Assisting Program Coordinator- Rakhine, Emergency Response Coordinator and Public Health Specialist-HHR for designing or conducting local context adapted advocacy action plan and actions.
  • Collect and share the changing local context, safety and security information as necessary to Emergency Response Coordinator and assigned Safety and Security focal for Chin State.

General:

  • Submitting monthly project reporting and ad hoc project and context update reports.
  • Perform other duties, as appropriate and as requested by supervisors.
  • Adhere to IRC global and national policies and procedures
  • Represent IRC positively and professionally in both internal and external relations and situations.
  • Conduct or assisting on implementation of emergency humanitarian respond actions in project targeted area.
  • Conduct or assist necessary survey, assessment and data collection for current or upcoming humanitarian respond actions.
