About the Project:
The Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Incomes through Support for Markets in Agriculture (PRISMA) is a five -year program (2019 – 2023) funded by the Australian Government’s aid program and implemented in cooperation with the Government of Indonesia.

The program represents the second phase of Australian Government investment in market systems development in the agricultural sector in Indonesia. PRISMA’s goal is to contribute to a 30% or more increase in net incomes for 700,000 smallholder farming households. Changes in income of poor farmer households are measured by changes in net income as a result of changed production practices. The Program will operate in 6 provinces, East Java, NTT, NTB, Papua, West Pa pua and Central Java.

About the role:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the Strategic direction and overall Program Delivery. This will include staff management, stakeholder relations as well as program communications.

About you:
You will have significant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience and an outstanding theoretical base in market systems development, with ability to conceptualise, design and implement major projects and produce major/complex reports or studies.
A demonstrated professional leader with ability to lead a team of professionals and ability to coach and mentor junior staff. Our ideal candidate will have experience in management of large, complex, decentralised programs and experience in contributing to strategic d irection and providing management to multidisciplinary teams in a cross-cultural context and be at working proficiency in English.

If you come with a familiarity with international donor systems and requirements and fluency in speaking and reading in Indonesian and experience working in Indonesia as well as knowledge of key cross-cutting issues and their application in market systems development program e.g., Women’s economic empowerment it would be super advantageous.
