Intern for Project Administration (f/m)

38.5h/week, 9 months; Location: Innsbruck/Austria

SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year.

 

Purpose of the position

The Intern for Project Administration will support the Connect SOS project, which aims to optimize and integrate processes for programme, finance and human resources management.

Connect SOS is an umbrella initiative, which connects the following sub-projects:

  • Results Based Management of Finances (RBMF) to align financial management processes with the RBM methodology 
  • Dynamics 365 (D365) for financial and human resource management 
  • ProDIGI as global system for Programme and Grant Management

In this position, the intern will support all 4 project managers of Connect SOS.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Support the project managers in organizing meetings and workshops (planning, agenda, technical set-up, logistics, content, minutes etc.)
  • Support in preparation of meetings (prepare documents, create graphs, charts etc.)
  • Support in creating presentations
  • Manage further administrative and organisational tasks (e.g. time schedules, correspondence, documentation and filing, communication, etc.)
  • Support in maintaining the internal collaboration & communication platform (Connect SOS workspace)

 

Requirements
  • Finished Bachelor studies, ideally in business administration (or similar)
  • Previous experience with administrative and/or project support
  • Previous experience with digital projects is an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong command of MS Office
  • Pro-active and independent style of working
  • Fluent English language skills
  • A valid Austrian working permit or eligibility to work within the EU
