Individual Giving Advisor (f/m) - Middle East Countries

Location: International Office Region, CEE/CIS/ME (IOR EUCM), Office Amman - Jordan

                

Mission

The holder of the position “Individual Giving Advisor” provides expert guidance, consultancy and monitoring to the individual giving fundraisers (who are focusing on online fundraising) and the online fundraising experts in the member associations of the region CEE/CIS/ME. She/he works towards successfully fulfilling objectives and targets of the regional FDC department in the field of online fundraising (online marketing, online sales); the focus is acquisition and retention of monthly donors. Based on effective knowledge transfer, capacity building and ongoing hands-on expert support, she/he enables market entries, fosters growth and ensures that countries successfully steer their fundraising business with individual donors.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Prepare new markets for starting individual fundraising with focus on online fundraising channels
  • Support countries in fostering local fundraising growth by further developing and introducing online fundraising channels
  • Secure individual fundraising investment into online channels by developing local in-house expertise for online fundraising (e.g. candidate’s assessment, on-boarding and mentoring of newly recruited fundraisers, catch-up calls with online fundraisers, field trips)
  • Safeguard individual fundraising expert networks (online fundraising)
  • Responsible within own area of work to raise awareness of the SOS Child Protection Policy principles and to prevent and protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination
  • Responsible to report any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the IOR CS focal person and/or to the respective line manager  

 

Requirements
  • Master Degree in Online Marketing, Social Media Management,  or related studies
  • Further studies in training / facilitation or related
  • 5-10 years of proven track record in online marketing or online sales or online fundraising, including minimum 3 years of experience in leading and safeguarding expert networks and designing workshops and trainings.
