The Deputy Director, Human Resources Operations will lead the Human Resources Operations team; serve as Product Manager for the Human Capital Platform (e.g., Workday); and lead the analysis, design, and implementation of an HR Shared Services model.

•Team leadership responsibilities (the team processes transactions for US domestic and international operating units) include workload management, training, mentoring and day to day assistance in resolving escalated issues.

•Product management responsibility requires partnering with the HRIT team, HR functional teams, HR business partners, external vendors, and Finance teams to prioritize and schedule improvements in the HR systems that will simplify and automate HR processes.

•Shared Services design leadership consists of assessing in partnership with HR functional leaders and business unit leaders, current processes and roles to define a new team / process model that streamlines the employee and manager experience across the full employee life cycle from recruiting to post-employment management.

Major Responsibilities:

•Direct and mentor the HR Operations team

•Resolve policy and process issues across HR functions and other business units

•Ensure HR operational processes stay current with local and national regulations (in collaboration with Legal department)

•Analyze and streamline current operational and system processes to remove inefficiencies and improve data quality and reporting accuracy

•Work with HRIT and external vendors to assess and implement system improvements

•Develop a Shared Services team structure that will meet the needs of HR Operations and the wider HR community

•Design an automated intake process that will incorporate the ServiceNow system and create Service Level Agreements for transaction processing

•Design and implement manager and employee self-service processes that will streamline operational processes and improve employee engagement with the system
