The Role:
In this role as Senior Data Analytics & Finance Coordinator within the Grant Operations & Analytics Team (GOAT), you will be responsible for leading the collection and analysis of Technical Excellence data while supporting with financial planning, budgeting and reporting to ensure effective financial management for the Units and Teams within Technical Excellence. This includes managing and analyzing sophisticated metrics to measure progress in areas such as Program Design, Quality Assurance and Business development while supporting budget management and time and effort reporting. 

 

Major Responsibilities:
Data Analysis (70%)
•Collaborate with the Senior Coordinators within GOAT to provide strategic analyses of portfolio composition; revenue and cost forecast; business development tracking and projections; program quality framework; scorecards; and other areas as needed
•Analyze needs and spending patterns to ensure the most effective use of funding
•Lead and manage analytical projects for Technical Excellence, including TU 2% analysis, HR Composition, Client Satisfaction, Portfolio composition, TE financial reviews, and TE staffing and funding trends, to inform decisions on resource allocation
•Provide analytical support to the VP of Technical Excellence in key strategic projects such as Strategy 100, OEF, Good & Great Impact Standards, etc.; Coordinate, consolidate, analyze, summarize, and package data into meaningful reports for relevant IRC departments
•Prepare presentations based on Technical Excellence data for internal and external audiences such as the Leadership Board, Finance, AMU, Senior TE Directors, etc.

Annual Operating Budget & Salary Coverage (30%)
•Support the Senior Finance Operations Coordinator to ensure that Technical Excellence operating budgets are created and maintained on a timely basis and revisions are submitted in accordance with the Finance schedule
•Assist with monthly process for tracking match obligations
•Assist with preparation of requests for additional funding
•Manage recodes for Unrestricted and Flexible Funding in Operating budgets and work with Grants Coordinators to ensure that funds used are in line with the planned spend in Operating budgets
•Assist with the completion and submission of time and effort reports for Technical Excellence staff in accordance with IRC standards  
•Train and support new staff on how to use IRC’s time and effort system.

 

Key Working Relationships:
You will report to: Director, Grant Operations and Analytics Team. Position works closely with the Senior Directors in Technical Excellence, Senior Coordinators in GOAT and Finance colleagues.
