This is a remote role.
The mission of the Talent Management team is to take the IRC’s people to the next level. The team is responsible for improving the productivity of IRC staff by providing tools, processes, and guidance for effective performance management, onboarding and orientation, staff and leadership development, and quality individual and team learning. 
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Talent Management, the LMS Administrator will manage the organization’s learning platform used by staff across the globe. In your role you will configure new learning opportunities, troubleshoot employee issues, collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver their content via the LMS, and liaise with other platform administrators to ensure the IRC portal runs seamlessly. This position offers an excellent opportunity to connect with staff and subject matter experts around the world, work on a wide variety of topics, and directly impact the learning experience of thousands of people. 
Major Responsibilities: 
•Manage the day-to-day functions of the LMS ensuring the system is working properly. This includes maintaining system-level functions, individual courses, briefing course admins about platform changes, training new course admins, curating learning pathways, etc.  
•Review draft LMS courses against rigorous quality criteria before publishing and work with course admins to correct any errors.
•Maintain a list of course admins and their courses. Run occasional audits of admins and courses to ensure focal points and course content is up-to-date.
•Co-manage the organization’s mailbox receiving learning inquiries and platform support requests. Respond to requests, supporting staff in finding the learning opportunities they’re looking for, and/or troubleshooting their LMS issues.
•Be a resource for subject matter experts on how to create courses, organize and deliver online training to employees. 
•Run reports and analyze platform and course-level data to identify and act on usage insights. Run reports for regional or country focal points as needed. 
•Serve as the in-house expert on Moodle tools and configuration. 
•Stay relevant on recent and upcoming platform improvements; make recommendations to platform administrators for system improvements.
•Create and update resources to train and support course admins and learners on how to use the LMS.
•Work with in-house and external translation services to ensure learning opportunities are available in multiple languages.
•Serve as point of escalation for support issues, which may include interaction with LMS support services.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
•Work experience: 2-5 years
•Previous experience managing a learning management system
•In-depth experience with Moodle and LMS system and course-level configuration
•Knowledge of instructional design and eLearning authoring tools
•Demonstrated skills and competencies: 
-Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
-Exceptional attention to detail
-Commitment to customer service and systems improvement
-Able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
-Ability to interact within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels of the organization
•Language Skills:  Fluency in English required. Fluency in French, Spanish or Arabic a plus
•Technical skills:
-High proficiency with Zoom, Teams and/or other distance learning tools
-High proficiency with LMS tools, particularly Moodle
-Proficiency in HTML
-Proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate 360 a plus
