Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is one of Germany's largest private aid agencies. In South Asia, over the past 55 years, WHH has supported over 1500 rural development projects through local partner organizations contributing towards combating poverty, hunger, and malnutrition. WHH is looking for innovative approaches to support the mission driven & impactful Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working rigorously for the upliftment of rural, tribal, marginalized and vulnerable communities in India. The latest tool towards achieving this goal is Online Fundraising, thus to equip CSOs with the required skills for Online Fundraising and make it easier for them, a new crowdfunding platform - www.shareon.in has been built and launched in January 2021 under a European Union (EU) co-funded project.
Position Summary:
The candidate is expected to strategize, plan and execute online, offline and event-based activities to raise funds for the campaigns hosted on ShareOn.in. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for creating brand visibility for ShareOn with an aim to create a feeling of trust, curiosity, and excitement among the target donors. This will be a target-based profile.

Job Description:
Monthly Deliverables for Individual Campaigns: -
1. Review & pitch perfection of fundraising campaigns hosted on ShareOn.in
2. Marketing & promotion of Individual campaigns – strategy, planning & execution (along with ShareOn Team)
3. ShareOn Social Media content development & review
4. Meeting 75% fundraising target of at least one fundraising campaigns (The total fundraising target of a campaign varies from Rs 3 to 5 lacs)
Monthly Deliverables for ShareOn’s Brand Building: -
Strategy, planning & execution of -
1. Media Partnerships – Coverage in mainstream media and exploring other avenues for collaboration with all kind of media (print, electronic, digital & new media etc.)
2. Corporate partnership – Exploring avenues for collaboration with corporates for adopting campaigns, monthly giving and other activities
3. Event partnership – Exploring ShareOn’s collaboration & participation in popular events
4. Influencers/Bloggers/Celebrity partnerships- Connect ShareOn with influencers for sharing of ShareOn posts on their Social Media, their participation in ShareOn’s tweet-a-thon & other Online events, Blog contents, other kind endorsement and ambassadorship
Eligibility criteria:
At least 5 years’ experience in –
1. Developing strategic plan for marketing & fundraising – both online & offline, PR & Media and event-based
2. Building alliances & long-term partnerships, corporate collaborations, managing media relations and database management
3. Designing communications and social media strategy for fundraising
4. Developing engaging content for Social Media for fundraising campaigns (ideation & content, designing skills are not must)
5. Experience of working with a crowdfunding platform will be an added advantage
Payment & timeframe:
The timeframe of the contract will be from May-June 2021 to December 2021 and the no. of working days will be between 50 to 70 days. The renumeration will be based on the number of working days.
