Background/IRC Summary:

In response to the situation in Libya, the IRC launched an emergency program in September 2016 which aimed to provide life-saving medical care and integrated protection services. At present, the IRC is conducting health and protection activities in Tripoli and Misrata, expanding its protection department, with a focus on community-based protection, rule of law, child protection, GBV, and MHPSS across all its project locations. Recently, the IRC has established a centre for psychosocial support activities for women and adolescent girls (WGSS), and for children (SHLS) in Misrata, and looking for a female receptionist who will oversee the admissions of the beneficiaries and the staff to the centre.

Major Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of Child Protection Assistant, the receptionist will:

·Receiving the clients at the reception

·Maintain physical and computerized records of SHLS beneficiaries.

·Provide orientation and needed information to beneficiaries upon arrival.

·Report unusual activity or suspicions of safety issues to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

·Complete proper documentation related to incident reports and misconduct reports

·Monitor venue grounds and entrances to ensure only authorized personnel and authorized visitors access;

·Lead efforts to de-escalate inappropriate behaviors

·Ensure the Covid-19 prevention standards at the entrance (masks, sanitizers, and temperature measuring)

·Any other duty the supervisor assigns.

Staff management

The receptionist will not be line managing any internal staff.
