IT Project Manager - Master Data and Global KPI Data (f/m)

SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year.  

 

 

Purpose of the position 

This position has the purpose to lead the work package: 
 
1) Aligning the Organisational Structure Master Data, leading the implementation of the new Master Data Tool, phasing out the legacy system, and monitor their implementation in all systems interfacing the Master Data Tool  
 
2) Defining the required transactional data delivered by Member Associations (MAs) via a standard data interface to establish/improve global KPIs  
 
Organisational Structure Master Data and Data for Global KPIs are highly cross-functional, cross-regional and cross-project topics. They are a baseline for most core and enabling processes, as well as for the majority of our systems. 

 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Setup and lead the work package team for the transition of organizational structure master data system from Lucy to ProDIGI/Salesforce  
  • Lead the integration of organizational structure master data in D365/Salesforce and phase out the master data legacy system 
  • Based on input from the other projects, analyze and define required changes on the organizational structure master data 
  • Align changes on the organizational structure master data with product owners and project managers affected and coordinate and monitor the implementation time plan for the different systems 
  • Define business and user requirements for the new organizational structure master data management tool (in Salesforce CRM) and manage the implementation of requirements with developers 
  • Test and accept implementation 
  • Define and get approval for a process to administer and maintain master data after project closure in a sustainable structure 
  • Define and get approval for the set of required transactional data to establish global strategic/operational KPIs 
  • Define a process for collecting the required data for global strategic/operational KPIs 
  • Define system requirements for major SOS Systems and Interfaces for MAs not using major SOS Systems 

 

Requirements 

  • University degree in Information Systems/Business Informatics/IT Management 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in System Analysis, Business Analysis or IT Project Management  
  • Strong project management skills as well as strong experience in application lifecycle management  
  • Excellent analytical skills (business analytics)  
  • Sound knowledge of information systems as well as quantifiable metrics (KPIs) 
  • Strong communications and stakeholder management skills 
  • Experience in data modeling, interface management and/or organizational steering models would be beneficial 
  • Fluent English language skills 
  • A valid Austrian working permit or eligibility to work within the EU
