  1. Role and responsibilities

The purpose of the officer position is day to day implementation of the CC Project. Use actions words such as ensure, implement or assist for the position relevant responsibilities.

 

Generic responsibilities

  1. Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  2. Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action
  3. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  4. Ensure proper filing of documents
  5. Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
  6. Promote and share ideas for technical improvement

 

Specific responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.

Specific responsibilities

  • Work closely with Shelter/NFI, CCCM Education, FSL, WASH and Protection teams to support with collecting, collating, presenting and otherwise managing information for M&E related reports
  • Conduct and support frequent surveys for monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Engage in the preparation of project monitoring and outcome reports such as baselines, PDMs, End liens, etc. Evaluation and/or review reports submitted by the programme team
  • Develop all kind of assessments data collection tools, methodologies, analysis and report for all core competencies and thematic areas including cash and market  .
  • Support program staff in documentation of the projects, including project inputs, outputs and outcomes (e.g. assessments, compiling beneficiary lists, recording construction progress, education activity attendance, change in behaviour and situation, etc.)
  • Responsible for data analysis and compilation of quarterly, annual and ad hoc program data and reports.
  • Maintain and update the area programme M&E database, ensuring correct and swift data entry and processing
  • Research and retrieve data from internal and external sources; prepare the statistical charts, tables and reports as required
  • Responsible for productions of maps & other geographic information products in coordination with other stakeholders i.e. iMMAPs, OCHA, etc

 

Critical interfaces

By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:

•             Programme Coordinators/Officers/Assistant

•             M&E staff within the area and at the CO
