Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, successful results

The Evaluation Office (EO) at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) provides timely, objective and focused information on the various activities undertaken by UNICEF to improve the well-being of children and women. Assessments of impact, effectiveness, efficiency and relevance support transparency, accountability and learning, and provide reliable evidence for decision-making and advocacy.

With the objective towards enhancing the utilization of evaluation findings, conclusions and recommendations, the Evaluation Office (EO) publishes Evaluation Reports and related knowledge products that are distributed across several platforms, both internal and external.   Emerging evidence is increasingly being digitized on platforms that can be accessed by users across the world.

UNICEF Evaluation Office has an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Collaboration Sites on SharePoint, a public website and a digital ideas platform (Global Development Commons)– all of which houses evaluative work from UNICEF globally. This EO Collaboration Site is a platform for EO staff to create, share and find information, collaborate with each other and access the tools needed to complete the work. The Drupal-based public website features recent evaluations, including those that have been presented the UNICEF Board and other UNDS entities.  The digital ideas platform further promotes evaluative work to the public, alongside other types of knowledge and evidence about children.  The consultant will assist curating and organizing existing and new evidence-based work easier to access by users, as well as, help curate and quality assure the content on all platforms (internal and external).
