Shift Manager in the Applications Handlers Unit

Planning, managing and coordinating resources; Ensuring for correct and timely processing of the ETIAS Applications during his/her shift; Supervising the good execution of the shift, taking measures on the spot to ensure the appropriate managing of the shift (e.g. in case of unplanned absence of scheduled staff members or crisis situation); Cooperating with the Team Leaders who supervise the activity of their team in the shift; Validating exceptions and dealing with escalations raised, analysing them, and tasking the appropriate desk in ETIAS Central Unit; Managing and revoking rights and invoking special procedures when required (e.g. in case of security breach); Configuring operational parameters in the system; Monitoring the performance of the different desks; Managing the handover report for the next shift; Taking necessary actions to ensure the business continuity; Coordination of the resolution of issues by cooperation with external (eu-LISA, Europol, ETIAS National Units) and internal stakeholders; Participating in the staff-related matters such as appraisal, time-management, etc
