Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services Unit, the Senior Corporate Services Officer will manage directly, as well as coordinate activities related to the design and construction of eu-LISA's second extension of the operational site of the Agency project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of the project team as well as those of contracted vendors. This involves maintaining the full oversight on financial, contracting, resource utilisation, interdependency planning, adherence to governance and standards, risk and issue management, and reporting, for the whole duration of the project. Furthermore, s/he will be responsible for monitoring the scope, planning, and execution of the assigned project(s) to keep within its pre-defined tolerances of budget, scope, time and quality. The Senior Corporate Services Officer - Project Management will be responsible for: • Planning and executing projects, ensuring maximum efficiency in resource allocation; • Maintaining full oversight and control of the assigned projects in terms of contractual obligations, governance and reporting, interdependency planning, risk and issue management, compliance with agency standards and proper use and adherence to agency tooling and processes; Provide leadership and guidance to project team members; • Monitoring and reporting overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions, where necessary, and ensuring deliverables remain within their pre-defined tolerances of scope, time, quality and budget-related; • Implementing defined project governance, reporting regularly to the project board and other stakeholders; • Actively managing the risks and issues of the project(s) by preparing mitigation strategies and following up their implementation with the involved stakeholders; • Managing all contractual aspects of the implementation and monitoring the project financial and procurement procedures per applicable regulatory frameworks, agency standards and service requirements; • Liaising with municipal and state authorities about topics related to the second extension of the operational site of the Agency project; • Drafting communications to the Management Board and the Budgetary Authority; • Acting as the contact point with the services of the European Commission in charge of authorising the related works contract; • Liaising with contractors, following up all steps necessary until the completion of the project(s).
