SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year. 

 

Mission 

The HR Business Partner Team is part of the Human Resources and Organisational Development (HROD) Function who enables the organisation to reach its strategic goals and is a professional partner in all HR related aspects such as Learning & Development/Capacity Building, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Performance Management, Strengthening governance and accountability and Recruitment. The incumbent of this position is to support the tasks of the HRBP team, such as recruitment, workspace management, employer branding, various HR projects and other general HR related tasks. 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Support recruitment process 
  • Support onboarding process 
  • Manage HROD workspaces and support HR communications (e.g. preparing presentations)  
  • Support employer branding initiatives 
  • Supporting HROD  trainings and webinars (preparations, technical support and follow-up) 
  • General HR support to the HRBP team and support of various HR projects  

 

Requirements 

  • Previous relevant internship preferably in an HR-related field and preferably in the context of an international organisation 
  • Work experience in a multicultural environment is desirable 
  • Good planning and organizing skills 
  • Good communication skills 
  • Advanced skills in MS office, Outlook and Power Point 
  • Cross-cultural communication skills 
  • HR–related experience or knowledge is an asset 
  • Good English language skills 
  • German language skills are an asset 
  • Willingness to work from Austria as working location 
  • A valid Austrian working permit or eligibility to work within the EU
