Here’s where you come in:

As the Country Program Director for World Vision Guatemala, you will ensure national relevance and impact through the implementation of quality programming, advocacy and sustainability in alignment to global strategy and regional priorities. You will work closely to the Bi-National /Cluster Director and team in all aspects of World Vision’s Ministry in Guatemala.**

You will be responsible for co-leading and strengthening the team (with the participation of Cluster Director and team), specially its leadership, for appropriate and timely decision making and risk & opportunities identification and management.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Marketing, Development or similar.
  • Proficiency in English & Spanish is a must.
  • At least 5 years senior management experience.
  • Sound and proven experience implementing new and innovative marketing and fund raising models to leverage sustainability, and managing local income growth.
  • Sound and proven experience in programming and business.
  • Solid networks in the context and external engagement experience.
  • Experience working with external partners in a local context.
  • Experience in combining slow and fast onset programs. Ability to juggle emergency response with long-term transformational development.

  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, when safe to do so.
