Job Overview:

Accurate data, data analysis and representation are central to the successful operation of any non-profit organization. The IRC in San Diego utilizes multiple data systems, including Salesforce, Efforts to Outcome (ETO) and Community Information Exchange (CIE) to capture the activities and impact of our work. The Data Coordinator is a full time position that will work primarily on data entry and quality assurance, ensuring consistency in data accuracy across the IRC in San Diego and the funders’ data reporting platforms.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Using paper forms or excel tracking sheets, enroll clients, record case notes and data points in Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), Community Information Exchange (CIE) and Salesforce data tracking platforms as related to direct service, screening tools and assessments, and referral services;

·Collaborate with program staff to ensure timely entry of client demographics, intakes, services, follow-ups, referrals; job placement; job training and screening outcomes into systems;

·Assist in data entry backlog when needed in different databases across programs.

 

Job Requirements:

·1+ years of related professional work preferably in a social service, academic, research, or evaluation environment;

·Strong data management skills, with ability to conduct basic data analysis from different sources;

·Solid attention to detail;

·Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with solid experience in MS Excel preferred;

·Experience working with efforts to outcomes; salesforce; Community Information Exchange preferred;

·Solid organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and accurately while under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

·Superb communication skills both written and verbal, English proficiency required;

·Reliable transportation with current and valid driver license with auto insurance;

·Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

 

 

Working Environment: 

  • During pandemic: At home work with reliable internet. Non-pandemic: Standard, professional office environment;
  • Regular travel to off-site locations is required;
  • Office’s hours are scheduled as Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
