Location:  Innsbruck (Austria) 

Duration: 6 months 

Working time: 38,5h/ week (full time)  

 

SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year. 

 

Mission 

Our contribution to the SOS Children’s Villages is to support and facilitate the exchange on inspiring solutions and practices that enable families to care for and protect their children and youth. We network with internal and external partners on an international and regional level to keep up with care and protection trends and contribute to innovative practices. As part of our team, you will contribute as follows:   

 

Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Project support within the “Learning and Development of Child and Youth Care Practitioners” project  
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings and workshops  
  • Assist in preparing surveys, reports, graphics, presentations, information lists and structure information on our Share Point collaboration platform (workspace, wiki pages)    

 

Requirements 

  • Finished bachelor studies in non-profit management, business administration, education or related areas 
  • Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Spanish or French is an asset 
  • Good writing abilities  
  • Organisational and administrative experience an advantage  
  • Graphic and design skills (brochures and presentations) would represent an advantage  
  • Excellent command of MS Office  
  • Pro-active and independent style of working 
  • A valid Austrian working permit or eligibility to work within the EU
