Overview of position |
Under direct supervision of LHD Programme Manager,
the Programme Support Assistant will be responsible for supporting the LHD activities
and ensuring that the implementing partners are on track with their action
plans.
|
Role objectives |
- Support the Programme Manage with
all the administrative, logistical, communication to support the implementation
and coordination of all LHD activities with the Libyan counterparts.
- Support in liaison work to communicate
and coordinate LHD operational engagements with the Libyan counterparts.
- Support in monitoring of the livelihood
and social cohesion grants implemented across Libya.
- Able to professionally translate
the document, information, and data from and for the field team from English
to Arabic and vice versa.
- Handle the logistical arrangements
and financial settling for LHD related events, such as workshops, exchange
sessions and trainings.
- Assist in ensuring the smooth
implementation of all LHD activities and related projects, by supporting the
administrative and financial processes with relevant Units/stakeholders;
- Ensure
files of all financial instructions/guidelines issued are maintained and
appropriate internal controls are in place;
- Maintain
a filing system for vouchers and all other financial documentation;
- Demonstrate an in-depth
understanding of relevant Operations SOPs as well as the ability to remain
professional, impartial and unbiased during all interactions with migrants
and colleagues per the IOM Code of Conduct and instruction on the Prevention
of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA.);
- Maintain the confidentiality and
integrity of all relevant paperwork in line with standards of conduct and
data protection rules. Alert the management of any non-compliance to SOPs or
codes of conduct by IOM staff members or partners;
- Perform such other duties as may be
assigned;
