Request for Proposals: SuitePeople Consultant

The Role

Last Mile Health seeks consultancy support from an individual or firm specializing in SuitePeople, Netsuite’s Human Resources Information System. This consultant will build systems for reporting on personnel data, clean and update LMH’s SuitePeople database, and provide training and coaching to members of LMH’s people operations team. 

Project Details

  • Commitment – Anticipating a 60-80 hour engagement over the course of approximately 2 months 
  • Location – Remote
  • Remuneration – Please include your overall proposal cost in USD within your application materials, as well as expectations for payment timing 

What You’ll Do

The consultant will be responsible for deliverables that cover three workstreams, with approximate time commitment assigned to each :

Deliverable 1: Build systems for personnel data reporting  (15-20 hours)

  • Gain a familiarity with LMH system and needs for the project 
  • Collect various requirements for personnel data reporting from relevant teams at Last Mile Health
  • Ensure SuitePeople Employee Records has the appropriate fields for generating needed reports/searches
  • Build streamlined and automated reporting functions that meet reporting needs, using the Saved Search functions that can consistently be re-run for real-time data  

Deliverable 2: Clean and update personnel data to align with reporting and usage needs (25-30 hours)

  • Where necessary, identify, work with People Operations team to gather, and input additional data to fulfill reporting requirements
  • Clean employee records, eliminating errors, duplicate entries, etc. to provide LMH with an accurate and up-to-date data set, working with the People Operations team to identify and address existing errors
  • Review existing time off plans, ensure all accrual processes are operating correctly, and, if possible, better align time off plans with LMH policies 

Deliverable 3: Provide training and coaching on SuitePeople (15-20 hours)

  • Train LMH staff from multiple countries in use of key SuitePeople functions, including records entry and maintenance, running reports, and using SuitePeople analytics tools
  • Conduct 2 recorded, 1-hour end user trainings with LMH employees from across the organization
  • Provide 1-1 coaching to a limited number of People Operations staff to support in knowledge uptake 

This project will be managed by LMH’s  Senior Coordinator, Learning and Development, and will involve consultation with other members of the People Operations team.  

What You’ll Bring

  • Netsuite certified, with a strong familiarity with SuitePeople
  • Experienced in data reporting and analytics
  • Highly independent and proactive workstyle 
  • Experience training global/cross-cultural teams preferred
  • Compliance with all data protection and confidentiality requirements

  • Description or examples of similar projects completed by the consultant
  • 2-3 client references who can speak to your relevant experience
  • Budget for project including pricing in USD

Proposals should be no more than 2 pages in length and should be submitted as a single PDF inclusive of all supporting documents.
