Job Overview: The Adult Education AmeriCorps is responsible for supporting the provision of classroom instruction including English as other language, job readiness orientations and vocational training services, know your rights, cultural orientation, and topics around health and wellness to improve client capacity to adjust to life in America successfully. Classes vary in size and are held in office and out in the community. This position will report to program leads. The duration of this position is from November 1st, 2021 to July 22nd, 20222.

Prepare and lead curriculum in classroom settings under the supervision of IRC office leads.
As appropriate, expand upon existing curriculum.
Assist in additional training opportunities such as mock interviews, creation of resumes, and job skills development sessions.
Assist clients directly by filling out job applications and assisting with the interview process, as appropriate.
Keep accurate attendance records and client pre- and post-assessments.
Track client progress in client database.
Comply with all policies, procedures and protocols of the agency.
Participate in all program meetings, staff development activities.
