Field(s) of activity/research for the traineeship

Topic : Business Application Portfolio Analysis

Project Scope:

• Work with the TIA Digital Communications Officer to update and analyse the portfolio of Business Application projects on the ESA BA website

• Work with the TIA Communications and Marketing Officer to identify success stories from Business Application projects

• Support the TIA- Marcom team with the uploading of stories to the ESA Space Solutions website

• Support the TIA Social Media Officer in monitoring Business Application projects for highlighting interesting content

• Support the TIA-Marcom team in the preparation of marketing content highlighting case studies from relevant BA projects The following would be an advantage:

• Web content management systems e.g. Drupal

• Managing databases e.g in MySQL, Microsoft Power BI dashboard

• Computer science computer software/computer systems engineering background

• Interest in marketing and communications

• Interest in technology transfer

Education

You must be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship. You should preferably be in your final or second to last year of a University course at master's level in a technical or scientific discipline.

Additional requirements

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.

 

The topics listed in Section 2 above respectively require such educational knowledge as:

A prior experience (internship) in consulting would be considered as an advantage.

Soft skills required for this position include but are not limited to proactivity, attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
