Your team

Within the Directorate Maastricht Upper Area Control Centre , "Change Management" manages programmes, projects and studies, and ensures that all changes are efficiently and promptly handled, using adequate methods and procedures. Its goal is to minimise the impact of changes on the other processes. 

Your role

Your role will be to:

  • Sort and store all project documentation for a specific MUAC project (SAS3 in a dedicated electronic system (SharePoint).
  • Register, store, distribute and do the follow-up of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Draft and prepare formal correspondence and documents.
  • Support the production of statistics/reports for management briefings/reports, including effort recorded, effort spent vs. planned, funds committed/paid.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of time and effort spent on the project.
  • Organise and prepare meetings, and prepare relevant files for meetings.
  • Monitor budget expenditure, process invoices and prepare purchase orders.
  • Assist in progress monitoring and follow up on outstanding actions, replies, etc.
  • Carry out any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.

Required qualifications, experience & competencies

  • Post-secondary education attested by a diploma or secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education and relevant professional experience of at least 2 years.
  • In addition, a minimum of 1 year relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in drafting documents (correspondence, minutes, etc.) in English.
  • Experience in document management.
  • Experience in the use of standard Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Visio and/or SharePoint would be considered an advantage.

  • Applications will be accepted from nationals of EUROCONTROL Member States only.
  • The selected candidate will be offered a contract of 3 Year (s) pursuant to the provisions of the Conditions of Employment of Contract Staff at EUROCONTROL. The contract may be renewed. Before being established in the post, he/she will be requested to provide certified copies of his/her degrees and successfully serve a probationary period of 9 months.
  • The successful candidate shall be appointed in principle at the basic grade of the advertised grades.
  • In case of reserve list: Suitable candidates, however not selected to fill the post, will be placed on a reserve list for similar functions. The period of validity of reserve list is 1 year from the closing date of applications.
