SCOPE OF WORK: The primary role of the RSS Intern is to provide comprehensive, culturally appropriate client-centered case management services for program participants, including connecting to community services and resources, and helping problem solve barriers to assist clients with reaching self-sufficiency and independence. This position is also responsible for assisting with administrative tasks including data entry and tracking and case note documentation.  


RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Conduct check-in calls with active and potential RSS clients  
  • Use culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate communication with clients 
  • Connect clients to internal IRC services and community resources and services as appropriate 
  • Assist clients in completing applications for public benefits and financial assistance programs 
  • Document all client communication and services in appropriate databases 
  • Coordinate with RSS case workers and other direct services teams within IRC 
  • Perform data entry and tracking  
  • Upload documents into appropriate databases and ensure client information in file is updated
