As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year.

Mission

Digital Fundraising (DFR) is a central area within the Fund Development (FD) function in the International Office (IO). The DFR team focuses on three topics that support member associations to scale and leverage their digital fundraising income: One is to provide the federation an agile, fully integrated digital fundraising platform (Digify) with state of the art tools. The second is promoting competence development, knowledge sharing and facilitate synergies across the organization in the area of digital fundraising. The third is active strategy and digital performance marketing support.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

·       Strategic creative further development:

o   Keep up to date with digital technology. Constant research and leading role for integration of emerging technologies and standards.

o   Strategically decide on development of visual design and create guidelines & roadmaps

 

·       Operative creative development

o   Deliver the art direction, concepts, frontend requirements, design mock-ups and implementation of creative solutions to comply with already existing Digify technology standards.

o   Implement front-end concepts using CSS, HTML and JavaScript

o   Standards and quality safe keeping for products appearances in frontend and web design.

o   Digital assets management: Create, adjust and maintain a production architecture to assure the highest quality of assets delivered in all mediums

 

·       Maintain brand creative direction: Leading role for incorporating the existing branding guidelines (global and local) in all Digify products.

·       Regular calls, feedback collection, organisation, steering, monitoring and reporting to all stakeholders regarding Visual Development of all products. Actively promoting new visual concepts to the main Digify associations.

·       Leads the network of web designers in 35 countries and proactively drives alignment.

·       Collaboration with external vendors: CPA has managing/lead/owner role for production of visual, thus CPA is the main contact point for external vendors. The whole visual distribution – Brand Values – Graphical/Visual Design – UI/UX Design/Engineering – UI/UX Development - Front-End Development is managed and executed directly by the CPA

·       Key role in kicking off new digital solutions: CPA is directly involved in all new Digify platforms. He works on projects that span full CMS redesign, landing pages, marketing pages, web assets and applications. Design decisions are taken by CPA

·       Touchpoints with other stakeholders: Close cooperation with associations to discuss project’s brief objectives, parameters and strategic approach. Broader cooperation with non-digital groups.

·       Merging business ideas into design mock ups and functionalities:

o   Translating Business requirements to a technical Solution using agreed frameworks and roadmap

o   Develop own Front-End solutions

·       Contribute / act as leading project manager for Frontend UI/UX design, to fulfill tasks like:

o   Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring

o   Elicitation

o   Requirements Analysis

o   Solution Assessment and Validation

o   Requirements Management and Communication

o   Implementation of concepts

o   Testing

 

 

 

Requirements

Essential:

 

  • A university degree or equivalent in Information Systems, IT, or Marketing with focus on IT
  • Experience in UI/ UX, web design and general front-end development (min 7 years of experience)
  • Deep understanding of CMS web design/front-end/web design architecture
  • Knowledge in interactive media, marketing, and project management that includes progressive responsibilities
  • Detailed awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status, and competition
  • Experience with: Figma, and other design tools
  • Impeccable design taste and understanding of brand design systems – brand identity, typography, art & photo direction, and up to date with contemporary design trends. An ability to adapt to brand guidelines, helping to define it and push it forward for multiple digital channels
  • Knowledge in application of Digital Assets technologies, layouts, responsive screens, behaviors and etc. Expertise in digital assets formats
  • Knowledge in UI/Frontend Libraries/technologies, specifics, methods and differences. Eg. CSS Grid, Flexbox, MAP API’s, Email templating
  • Experience conceiving of campaign ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Very good analytical skills to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Experience in translating business requirements into domain IT solutions
  • Expertise in latest up-to-date trends in HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and other libraries and frameworks used by Digify
  • Stakeholder management and convincing skills
  • Project management skills
  • Leading without authority & team facilitations skills
  • Proactive and autonomous way of working
  • Excellent command of English; good command of German is an asset
  • Openness to work from Austria as work location
  • EU citizenship or eligibility to work in Austria
